Double Zip Box Pouch, Pattern Review

Jun 5, 2017

Happy Monday! Today I have a brand new, just released, pattern to show you from Aneela Hoey called the Double Zip Box Pouch.

I have been fortunate enough to once again test a pattern for Aneela, and last week I whipped up this awesome pouch. I has two roomy large zippered areas housed in a boxed style pouch with a cute little carrying handle right on top!

This pattern is very easy to follow and although it may look a little tricky, I assure you its simple enough to complete that an advanced beginner could do it with no problem!

I chose some essex linen and a couple prints from Amy Sinibaldi's new fabric lines, Charleston and Les Petits (the two lines go beautifully together). My favorite is the "The Row" print with those cute little rows of houses and this adorable compass design (shown below).

I added a little bit of hand stitching on the front which I absolutely fell in love with as soon as I was finished!

This bag is currently housing my girls heatless "magic curlers" LOL. The two big compartments were perfect for separating the curler sizes (short and long) and it will be perfect to take with us when traveling.

You should totally buy this pattern! I can think of so many things this bag would be useful for.
