I have been on a tote making frenzy lately!! The Trail Tote by Noodlehead has been on my list for a while but I was indecisive on wether to make the small or large size. I ended up going with the small as tester I guess and I looove the way it turned out!
I used Trinket Fabric by Cotton & Still for the interior and exterior as well as a yummy Cloud9 Cirrus Solid for the straps.
The small version is not a super roomy tote. But its great for errand running where you'd like to take only your keys, wallet, phone and some essentials with you. Its also awesome for kids! This is a great size for tweens or young girls.
I did add some things to my tote that weren't in the original free pattern - there is an exterior and interior zipper zippered pockets and a double slip pocket. The original pattern only calls for the exterior zipper and a single inside slip pocket, but I really needed the extra space.
I don't know about you but I don't feel safe putting my phone in an outside slip pocket of a bag. If i bend over or something happens it might fall out!! I like to have that secure.
Anywho, I hope you loved this bag and since the pattern is free you should totally try it yourself! Its a very quick finish!
