Now that the Maker's Tote Swap I hosted on Instagram has wrapped up, I wanted to show you what I made for my partner and what I received as well!
First up (see photo above) is the package I made for my partner Susan, @alfamare. I used Susan's sign up form to choose her favorite colors to make a super bold & bright Maker's Tote for her along with a Carry-All Pincushion and a Pencil Pouch (both from Handmade Style Book by Anna Graham).
The inside of the tote (see below) and gussets were done in a super fun black and white polka dot print, some Robert Kaufman widescreen in grey and a pink Cotton & Steel print. I enjoyed making this back although attaching the handles did make be sweat a bit! LOL
The package that was sent to me by @cecivas was absolutely amazing! She did a great job using my favorite colors and fabric designers to make a super cute tote for me and she sent an unreal amount of extras. I felt so spoiled when I opened this package!!
She even sent me a rope bowl (my first one, i LOVE IT) and a beautiful beaded box all the way from her trip to Bolivia! So amazing!
This swap was a bit of a challenging one, I think a lot of the participants would agree with me but we all learned a little on the way and almost everyone has shipped so now we're just waiting on packages to arrive at people's home so we can all see what was made!
Thanks again to all of my fantastic swappers! This was a great one!
