Today I want to share with you some Popcorn Pouches I have made using scraps leftover from a quilt I designed especially for this blog tour (you'll see that later in the month, so stick around! it will be a FREE pattern download).
The Lugu Collection by Jessica Swift is a beautiful mix of rich jewel tones with moths, owls, moons, and so much more! Jessica's fabrics with AGF are so soft and silky they would be perfect for garments as well as quilts and bags. You really can't go wrong with Art Gallery!
I was inspired by the hues of these fabrics to make so many different things, but for this post I chose to make some super quick and easy zipper pouches from my own pattern, The Popcorn Pouch.
One fantastic thing about these pouches is the ability for them to lay totally flat or to expand as they're stuffed full, which makes it great for baby items (especially wipes packages!), device chargers, feminine hygiene products, etc. They are really very versatile ontop of being quick to make.
These particular Popcorn Pouches are made with various Lugu fabric prints backed with Pellon SF101 for durability. I always love to add a little suede tassel charm on my zippers for an extra touch.
